Police operation in Blind Bight area

A police incident in the Blind Bight area has finished.

Police were searching bushland in the Blind Bight and Warneet area, near Tooradin, for a man who was believed to be threatening self-harm.

A number of callers to the Neil Mitchell program reported a heavy police presence in the area.

A man’s body was later found.

There is no ongoing threat to the community.
