‘Multiple’ shots fired during disturbing scuffle at Doncaster East

There have been dramatic scenes at Doncaster East on Friday afternoon, with “multiple” gun shots being fired.

It’s believed two men were walking to a car when they were confronted by another, wearing dark clothing and their face fully covered.

A scuffle ensued, leading to the masked man shooting at the pair as they fled in a car.

A tradesman then came out of a nearby business to see what was happening.

More shots were fired.

“We aren’t sure whether they were fired at him, or just warning shots,” 7 News reporter Melina Sarris told Tom Elliott.

The man then fled down Soderlund Drive.

No injuries have been reported.
