Retailers welcome ‘enormous’ change to COVID-19 rules in Victoria

Victorians in retail will be safer at work now customers no longer need to prove their vaccination status to enter, according to the CEO of the National Retailers Association.

Dominique Lamb said the level of abuse and violence that had been directed at staff just trying to do their job in recent months had been “extraordinary”.

She hopes that will no longer occur.

“This is an enormous change and certainly welcomed,” she said.
