Rex Airlines is ‘important’ for regional communities according to Federal Treasurer

As reported on 3AW on Monday, that REX Airlines were in trouble. This turned about to be true, as it has headed into voluntary administration.

Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers joined 3AW Mornings to discuss the ‘horrible’ week for Rex, it’s workers and customers.

“We are working with the other airlines, to make sure people (rex workers) are re-employed to other airlines,” Chalmers said on 3AW Mornings.
