Ring Road closed after nasty crash

All lanes are closed Greenborough-bound on the Western Ring Road were closed for several hours today following a nasty crash near the Pascoe Vale Road turn-off.

A car is believed to have flipped, while a truck was left sprawled on its side and trapped for some time.

Remarkably, there were no serious injuries.

However, the traffic impact was enormous, with the Greensborough lanes closed for several hours.

At 2:30pm, only one lane had been re-opened.
