Road Safety Camera Commissioner resigns

Victoria’s Road Safety Camera Commissioner Gordon Lewis will finish in his role on Friday at the end of his current term. 

Neil Mitchell paid tribute to Mr Lewis and the work he’s done for Victoria.

‘He’s one of the most decent men I’ve met,’ Neil said on Tuesday.

‘In my view, he has done great work for Victoria, great work for motorists, great work for road safety.

Neil said his successor will have big shoes to fill.

‘He’s had good ideas, he’s been fair, he’s been fearless – we need another one like him.’
