Roads debate: 10 more years of congestion

Both major parties have conceded there will be a decade of disruption on our roads with major works underway to fix congestion.

Upgrades including to the Monash, M80 Ring Road, Hoddle Street and the Tullamarine widening project are causing traffic chaos.

Shadow Roads Minister David Hodgett and the government’s Luke Donnellan have both told Neil Mitchell it’s frustrating but there’s no avoiding the delays on our roads as they’re upgraded.
