Victoria’s digital license trial in Ballarat has been extended to the rest of the state.

Now all Victorians are able to access their driver’s license on their phones, with Minister for Roads and Roads Safety Melissa Horne confident the new system isn’t a security risk.

“We’re pretty certain that this (digital license system) has been fairly rigorously tested,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

“Security is always top priority over any development process.”
