‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ hits cinemas at midnight across Australia

Star Wars fans are preparing for the release of the latest film in the franchise, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Thousands of Jedi, Sith and Stormtroopers alike are expected to attend midnight screenings across the galaxy.

Chris Brennan, Star Wars super-fan and Director of the Star Wars Appreciation Society of Australia tells Nick McCallum it has been a long time coming.

‘It’s really unusual as a Star Wars fan to have this plethora of films coming out one after the other, it’s quite fun!’

Chris tells Nick he has booked out a 740 seat cinema at Village Cinemas Knox.

‘It’s a great way to see the film with the fans,’ he tells 3AW Drive.
