Rolling Stones take out ‘clever, cryptic’ ad in a London newspaper

The Rolling Stones have planted a “cryptic” advertisement for ‘Hackney Diamonds’ in the Hackney Gazette.

The ad reads “Our friendly team promises you satisfaction. When you say gimme shelter we’ll fix your shattered windows”, and includes a phone number to call “for a quote”.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford says it’s a “very clever” promotion.
