Ron Barassi rarely speaks publicly these days.

But he’s sent Neil Mitchell a message to share with the Demons as they head to the grand final for the first time since 2000!

“Ron is a very private man these days … but as a favour to me, Ron has taped a message for the Demons,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“I’ve already sent that to some of the Melbourne players and officials. I’ve sent it to the AFL.

“I’d love to see it as a pre-match build up played on the big screen in Perth.”
