Roo with arrow through its back makes miraculous recovery

A kangaroo which was spotted with an arrow through its back has made a full recovery and is set to return to the wild.

North Warrandyte resident Nancy alerted Tom Elliott to the shocking act of cruelty last month.

The kangaroo, which had a joey in its pouch, has since been nursed back to health and both she and her baby are doing well.
