Ross and John find out why we are surrounded by roadworks

Ross and John have noticed lots of roadworks around at the moment.

They observed that nearly every road is being worked on.

So they spent the morning investigating why.

John Merritt, CEO of VicRoads, told Ross and John VicRoads is doing a huge amount of roadworks right now.

He said Melbourne’s population growth meant more cars on the road, so more roads needed fixing.
