Ross and John learn why heart disease needs more love

Nothing kills Australians more than heart disease.

But research into heart disease receives half the funding of cancer research, and cardiologists say that needs to change.

Dr Gavin Jennings, from Baker IDI, told Ross and John heart disease needed more funding and public attention.

‘A lot of these heart disease deaths are preventable – in fact most of them are,’ he said.
