Ross and John’s ‘describe your suburb in two words’

A recent survey revealed Melburnians agree on the description of their city, with many calling Melbourne cultural and fashionable.

It was a different story in Sydney, where ‘beautiful and famous’ were the top ways to describe the harbour city.

So Ross and John made it even more specific and asked listeners what they’d call the suburb they reside in.

Ideas included:

• Hampton – labradors and prams
• Balwyn – elderly and foreign investors, or botox and coffee
• Northcote – bikes and beers

And then Mary from Corio called in, right on cue.
