Ross and John have started a ‘World Cup’ in search of the best festive tune.

It follows a report Christmas ‘hymns’ are set to be banned in state schools, with only non-religious ‘carols’ allowed.

The boys’ quest has already started controversially, with Burnso revealing his favourite Christmas tune to be the Little Drummer Boy.

It left Ross speechless.

‘Seriously? That’s like pick 76 in the draft,’ Ross said on 3AW Breakfast.

‘Good lord, I wouldn’t give you two bob for it.

‘It’s the Christmas carol equivalent of the Fremantle theme song.’
