Ross and John solve the mystery behind the Yarra Trams voice

Ross and John have solved one of Melbourne’s great mysteries.

They have unmasked the identity of the voice of Yarra Trams.

 Colin Tyrus, the Corporate Relations & Communications Manager at V/Line admitted he is responsible for the announcements.

Ross thought he recognised the voice of the former 3AW News director, during a recent tram ride.

Mr Tyrus told Ross and John it took many hours to record announcements for the 650 tram stops.
