Iconic singer-songwriter Barry Gibb has released a new album.

Ahead of his Australian tour early next year, the last surviving member of the Bee Gees said he’s exhilarated by the changing face of the music industry.

He said the shift to online streaming of music feels like the change between decades from the 1960s to the 1980s.

‘It feels like there’s a huge change going on, and you have to sit on the wave,’ Mr Gibb said.

‘You either ride it, or you walk away from it.

‘I’m happy to ride it. I think it’s a great culture right now.’

Mr Gibb explained why he is starting the tour in Queensland, which holds a special place in his heart.
