Australian basketball ace Patrick Mills has warned the Boomers are still getting better, as they shoot for their first ever medal.

The men’s basketball team scored a dominant 90-64 win over Lithuania in the early hours of Thursday morning.

They’re now guaranteed to play for a medal.

Ross and John spoke with the popular guard on the line from Brazil after the win.

‘Our ability to adjust on the fly has been good, which is difficult to do in a tournament like this,’ Mills said on 3AW Breakfast.

‘We’re getting better as each game goes on.

‘There’s still a couple of things we can iron out but we’ll watch film on the game and get better.’
