During the Christmas period many of us will be hitting the roads all across the country and one tip Dowling has for motorists is to avoid E10 fuel.

‘E10 is a joke. We’ve been conned by the green groups,’ he said.

‘I wouldn’t put E10 in a lawn mower.’
