Ross Greenwood speaks with Shayne Elliott, CEO fo the ANZ Bank, regarding the bank inquiry.

There were revelations yesterday of the Commonwealth Bank and more today of the ANZ Bank.

Mr Elliott explained the inquiry today as ‘gruelling’, but indicated he believes there is no need for a Royal Commission.

‘I think the banks have shown that we’ve been able to answer the questions,’ said Elliott.

‘We stood up, we said we made a mistake. We’ve agreed to fix things.’
