Ross Greenwood speaks to Senator Derryn Hinch about Paid Parental Leave.

Senator Hinch has come up with an amendment for Paid Parental Leave which he will put forward on November 7.

The idea is to bring it in at 18 weeks, to avoid double dipping. But then to push it off to July 1.

He says this will avoid the surprise factor.

Ross Greenwood believes the idea will be well received by the Government.
