Ross Greenwood speaks with Sam Macedone from Macedone Legal about office sweeps and syndicates. 

There was a recent case where a man lost a court case when he thought he was a part of an office syndicate which won Powerball.

Macedone explained how the process works from a legal perspective.

‘The basis of this case was that you are either in a syndicate, or you are not in it,’ Macedone said.

Macedone explained how there must be an agreement in place with all people involved in the syndicate.
