Ross, Russel and Mark Allen react to Novak Djokovic’s interview snub after Tony Jones comments

Ross Stevenson, Russel Howcroft and Mark Allen have given their thoughts on Novak Djokovic’s post-match interview snub last night after winning through to the quarter finals at the Australian Open.
Djokovic took offence to comments made by Tony Jones on Channel Nine on Friday night when interacting with Serbian fans at the Open.
“It makes me think that he’s being misled by people about what actually happened,” Stevenson said about Djokovic.

“If Mick Molloy or Sam Pang said the same thing, everybody would’ve been bent over and knee slapping … it was said in fun,” Allen said.
The Channel Nine broadcaster has since apologised for the comments, and shed light on the communication he had with the Djokovic camp over the weekend.
“As I stand here now, I stand by that apology to Novak, if he felt any disrespect which quite clearly he does,” Jones said.
