Rumour confirmed: A Bayside Rotary Club last night inducted its first female member

‘MISOGYNY IS DEAD’ told Ross and John on the Rumour File this morning that after a 45 years of resistance, a Bayside Rotary Club last night inducted its first female member.

We spoke to Catie Kirke, the first woman to be inducted to the Brighton Rotary Club.

 

Ms Kirke told us she was ‘honoured and humbled’ to be welcomed into a club that contributes so much to the community.

After only living in Melbourne for 12 weeks, the born and bred Territorian told the boys she was missing the flamboyant headlines the NT News has to offer!
