Rumour confirmed: Anchor stolen from tavern

An iconic antique anchor has been stolen from The Williamstown Pirates Tavern.

The anchor was taken between 7am and 4pm on Monday.

The anchor is valued at $600, but its sentimental value to the tavern makes it irreplaceable.

Anyone with information about its whereabouts should contact police.
