Rumour confirmed: Aussie driving 1929 Pontiac from Bangkok to Istanbul for Parkinson’s

A rumour from Tuesday’s Rumour File has been confirmed on Wednesday.

Rick Lindsay is embarking on an epic road trip, driving his 1929 Pontiac from Bangkok to Istanbul to raise money for Parkinson’s research.

Lindsay told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft he had been inspired by some former clients who had developed Parkinson’s.

“They were so positive about their, well, not about their situation, but they just handled it really well,” he said.
