Rumour confirmed: Brawl breaks out at Gippsland B&S ball

Two men have been hospitalised with serious injuries after violence broke out at a Gippsland B&S ball overnight.

First revealed on The Rumour File, police were called to the affray at a Tooradin recreation reserve about 12.30am.

3AW Breakfast heard police were forced to call for back up from officers up to 100km away.

A 24-year-old man from Alexandra and a 22-year-old man from Traralgon were conveyed to hospital with serious injuries and a number of others were treated for minor injuries.

Detectives are now investigating but no arrests have been made.
