RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Car thief makes off with prized racing pigeons

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: An opportunistic car thief has driven off with a man’s vehicle – and two baskets of racing pigeons in the boot.

‘Flown the Coop’ told the Rumour File on Friday the thieves struck Thursday evening at Preston, getting away with the white 2008 Camry as well as the six trained birds.

John, the birds’ owner, told Ross and John he’d been a ‘dill’ and left his keys in the ignition while he ran into a shop to buy milk.

If released, the birds are trained to return home.
