Rumour Confirmed: Crime spree in Melbourne’s north

Police confirm two cars were broken into in Bundoora on Tuesday morning.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File had heard whispers of a crime spree in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, which proved correct.

Police say the incidents occurred at 4.20am.

A home owner found a man in his garage going through his car after another car had also been broken into.

The resident, who had gotten up to go to the gym, chased the man but was unable to catch him.
