Rumour Confirmed: Medicare and Centrelink workers set to walk off job

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Public servants will walk off the job next month in strike action set to impact the health and welfare systems.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File was alerted to the protest on Tuesday.

It’s since been revealed staff at Medicare and Centrelink had voted in favour of a full strike, set to take place in late March.

It’s believed that date will be March 21, but that is yet to be confirmed.
