RUMOUR CONFIRMED

A Melbourne anaethetist has been awarded The Order of the Polar Star.

It’s Mongolia’s highest civil award.

Dr Amanda Baric, anaesthetist at The Northern Hospital, told Ross and Russel

“I want to acknowledge the huge number of people who have joined our project and we’ve been very fortunate to have that support – they’re doing that on their own time,” she said.

Previous winners include Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton!
