Rumour Confirmed: Milk bar raided in Melbourne’s north overnight

A group of youths raided a milk bar yesterday night in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

The offenders trashed the store, assaulted the owner and stole several packets of cigarettes.

Joe Risoli, owner of Local Pizza Plus in Coburg, spoke with Ross and John after the ordeal.

‘About 30 of them came around the corner, chasing one of their mates. They went behind the counter, a couple of his mates chased him,’ Joe said.

Police are investigating.
