RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Police investigate theft of guns at Seymour

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Police are investigating the theft of seven shotguns from a Seymour sports store.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File received an off-air tip about the burglary, which happened at 3.50am on Monday.

Police confirmed the incident a short time later.

It’s believed an offender broke into the store, stealing a ‘number’ of guns after smashing a gun cabinet, before meeting a second offender who was waiting in a nearby car.

The vehicle has since been located.
