RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Snake catcher rescues oven mitt from woman’s cupboard

A snake catcher who got a call to help retrieve a snake from a woman’s cupboard in her Reservoir home received a bit of a shock last night.

What he found when he got there was certainly a first.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File heard the reptile expert bravely opened the cupboard door, to reveal an oven mitt. 

Adam Sapiano from 1300 Reptile told Justin and Kate sure enough it wasn’t a run of the mill job.

‘I think it was the thumb of the oven mitt the lady saw she thought was the head of the snake,’ he said.

‘She still insisted I take everything out of the cupboard, but the oven mitt.’
