The teenager walking 400,000 steps to raise money for MND

Jack Gilmour is walking 400,000 steps, one for every person worldwide suffering from MND, to raise money for the incurable disease.

He told 3AW Breakfast hosts Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen his grandad, who died after being diagnosed with MND, had been an avid walker and he thought this would be a good way to honour his memory.

“He used to go on daily walks and seeing MND take that away from him, it was just really hard,” he said.
