RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Woman sparks security scare at Melbourne Airport

CONFIRMED: A woman has been arrested after a brief security scare at Melbourne airport on Tuesday.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File was told by Illegal Access the woman was ‘chased’ on and off planes after ‘stealing’ identification which allowed her to wander around the tarmac freely until she was challenged.

The AFP confirmed officers were called to a disturbance at Terminal 4 and that a woman was in custody.

They did not comment any further.
