Rumour File: Dog kicked for donning ‘Equality’ bandanna

An innocent pooch has become the latest victim in the same-sex marriage saga, after a man allegedly tried to kick the dog which was wearing an ‘Equality’ bandanna.

First heard on The Rumour File this morning, Claire Sutherland’s dog-sitter was walking Mack in McIvor Reserve in Yarraville when she was approached by a person who took offence to the bandanna.

On Twitter, Claire says the man attempted to kick Mack while shouting homophobic slurs.

Thankfully for the poor pup, the kick didn’t connect.
