Man arrested and a bar staff member injured following an altercation at a Frankston pub last week.

The incident happened Friday afternoon, where a 29-year-old man assaulted bar staff with a ‘edged weapon’ after a ‘verbal confrontation’.

The offender fled to a nearby fast food restaurant where he hid.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to Frankston hospital. 

He was then found by police and taken into custody. 

The offender has been charged and remanded.
