UPDATE: Police have confirmed they’re investigating a terrifying home invasion in which a woman was bound and a large amount of cash stolen.

3AW Breakfast has been told the ‘large quantity’ of cash was in excesss of $100,000.

Police understand a man and woman entered a home on Walter Street, Tecoma, in the early hours of February 8.

They proceeded to tie up a woman inside the house by her feet and wrists before stealing the cash.

The victim’s mobile phone was also taken during the ordeal.

The victim suffered minor injuries before managing to free herself and call police.
