Rumour File: Queen very politely declines Australian boy’s invite to his bowling party
RUMOUR CONFIRMED
The Queen has very politely declined an invite to an Australian boy’s birthday party at a tenpin bowling complex via a written letter.
James invited Queen Elizabeth II to his eighth birthday because “I thought you haven’t been bowling before and this might be your chance”.
“For me, it’s easy and fun. I think you might enjoy it.
“But please don’t get your fingers squashed between the bowling balls.”
James added that there will also be “yummy vanilla cakes” and video games.
Her Majesty responded via her lady-in-waiting, thanking James for the invite and explaining she couldn’t make it because his birthday party clashed with another significant event: Harry and Meghan’s wedding.
“I hope you and your friends had a lovely time,” the letter read.
