RUMOUR FILE: School leaves student and teacher behind after excursion
RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A primary school in Melbourne’s south-east had a brief moment of panic when it realised it was two-down on an excursion.
‘Forgotten Kids’ told 3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File at least one child had been left behind after a trip to a popular museum.
Wantirna’s Templeton Primary School has since confirmed a student and teacher were left behind from the Grade 4 excursion to Scienceworks last Thursday, because of a miscount.
The school says it took about 10 minutes to realise they were two down, before the bus was turned around.
