We think we’ve found the Montague St bridge of regional Victoria.

But this bus-versus-bridge smash has an embarrassing twist.

Rumour File caller ‘Incredibility’ alerted us to the smash, which happened at the Simpson Street bridge in Warrnambool on Thursday night.

In scenes not dissimilar to February’s shocking Montague St bridge bus smash, the oversized V/Line bus became wedged.

And here’s the pinch: The bridge carries a V/Line train line.

‘It’s effectively hit its own bridge,’ the caller told 3AW Breakfast.
