RUMOUR CONFIRMED

A group of “urban explorers” appear responsible for silhouettes perched atop one of Melbourne’s most iconic landmark.

Rumour File caller ‘Snapped’ told Ross and John of seeing people climbing the Nylex sign at dusk last night.

“Who were they, and what were they doing?” the caller asked, later sending photo evidence.

A member of Urbex Melbourne, Jay, called in to say it was most likely members of his group.

“Urbex is a worldwide community of people love to take photos of places and buildings … to kind of maintain their history and understand their relevance,” he said.

“There’s a community in Melbourne that’s really passionate about this stuff.”

Photos of the climb are yet to be published on Urbex Melbourne’s website nor social media accounts.
