Russel Howcroft remembers advertising icon Harold Mitchell following his death

Advertising icon and media veteran Harold Mitchell has died aged 81 on Saturday following complications from knee surgery.

3AW Breakfast presenter Russel Howcroft, who has plenty of experience in the advertising industry, paid tribute this morning after the news came through.

“You could argue I wouldn’t see sitting here if it wasn’t for Harold,” Howcroft said.
