Russell Street bomber Craig Minogue set to be freed
The Russell Street bomber will be eligible to apply for parole in less than nine months, despite killing an inmate behind bars.
Craig Minogue was jailed for life with a minimum of 30 years for the 1986 bombing, which killed 21-year-old constable, Angela Taylor.
Veteran crime reporter Andrew Rule from the Herald Sun told 3AW Breakfast that Minogue – or Doctor Minogue as he is now qualified – is also suspected to be involved in the murder of teenager Pruce Bird in 1992, but has never been charged.
