Sad end to search for missing Shepparton teen

There’s been a tragic twist in the search for a missing Shepparton teen.

A body, believed to be that of 18-year-old Simon, was found in the waters at Docklands on Thursday.

He’d been missing for almost two weeks.

Police aren’t treating the death with suspicion.

He was last seen on CCTV at approximately 4am on Friday, October 7, sitting out the front of a restaurant on NewQuay Promenade.

His friends, who were with him earlier in the night, woke up and found Simon had not returned to his accommodation.
