Salvation Army leaves toys and books for kids outside closed shop

This is lovely.

A 3AW Drive listener admits it put a smile on her face when she spotted free books and soft toys outside her local Salvation Army store.

The shop currently isn’t open due to COVID-19 rules.

But they’ve left boxes out the front filled with toys and books for people to give and take as they wish.
