Sam McClure and Richo weigh in on discrepancy between Finlayson and Clarkson sanctions
Sam McClure and Richo have weighed in on the sanctions handed down to Port Adelaide player, Jeremy Finlayson, for a homophobic slur made last Friday,
McClure has called the ban a positive move, but questioned the difference between Finlayson’s ban, and the sanctions North Melbourne coach, Alastair Clarkson received.
“Clarkson was given a two-week suspended ban, and a $20,000 fine … essentially pocket change,” he said.

Richo says there’s a “fair” discrepancy between the sanctions.
“Now that Finlayson’s been suspended for three games, it doesn’t feel right [that Clarkson only got a suspended ban],” he said.
