Sam Mitchell traded to West Coast Eagles

Sam Mitchell is officially a West Coast player.

In one of the most stunning moves in AFL trade history, the reigning Hawthorn best and fairest winner has joined the Eagles.

The Hawks will receive picks 52, 70 and 88 in exchange for their club legend.

The Eagles will also receive picks 54 and 72 as part of the deal.
